The Believer in Christ has such great power. There is the power to literally have what we say, as well as the power to command mountains to move. (And, contrary to most religious teaching, for no particular reason.) There are no limits on the power given to God’s children. Man has set limits, but the Word of God never gives us such limits. The key to the operation of God’s power in our lives is faith. Unbelief stops everything. While there is that which hinders faith and strengthens unbelief, there is no process for this operation but to believe and to do. In reality that which does hinder the power of God in our lives is easily found.The good news is that we have nothing to overcome or conquer, for we stand in Christ who has conquered all for us. We only must believe and do.

The power to have what we say is the working of faith in God. This is not to be taken to mean a moment of faith, but more of the life of faith. (It would seem that in scripture God is not looking for a moment of faith for an answer but the life of faith in Him as the answer for all things.) The result of having faith in God is power in life and over life. This power extends to every facet of life and yet the religious have made the power of God of almost no effect in daily living and subsequently we find that this attitude stops the flow of the Holy Spirit in almost every setting. The Believer is to have power. Power is the first description of what happens when we receive the Holy Spirit, but today it is the least expectation of the Spirit! The Fullness of God dwells in Christ and yet the Church, the Body of Christ, continues in ups and downs and an ebb and flow of intermittent events rather than the power that Christ possessed and exhibited on earth. The key is to believe, but if we do not know what to believe, then how shall we receive? We believe the Truth and the truth is that Jesus said that if we have faith in God we can have what we say!

Jesus is life and in Him is life and that more abundantly. (John 10:10) His name is the representation of all that He is and all that we have in Him. In this sermon we add to and go deeper into the Greatness of His Name.

There is no other name by which man can be saved but the name of Jesus. His name alone stands above every other for none other can claim to be the Son of God who is the Son of Man that came from heaven to earth to save man and to restore him to his rightful place. The name of Jesus is thought of in so many ways but it seems so rarely thought of in the reality of its true greatness and what it means to to those that believe in His name. There is power in Christ and this power is given to all that truly believe on His name. All that He is, is in His name. All that He worked for man is in His name. All that He possesses is in His name and is freely given to those that will believe in His great name.

What the Believer possesses in Christ is beyond the belief of even most believers. Yet there are those that believe without question the gifts, power, and abilities that are infused into every believer by the indwelling of God’s Spirit in the believer’s life. The question then becomes one of activation. Some have taken the abilities of the believer and made them nothing more than pathways to riches and promotion. Yes, there is blessing and promotion for the believer, but the power to have what we say is greater than speaking personal wealth into existence and yet it does not preclude the speaking of blessing and wealth! It all comes down to our faith in God and the heart of the believer. The power is there and it is real. It is the gift of God and the product of faith. And yet faith is so much more than many understand.

God is in love with us! Yes, God loves us. He loves us more passionately than we could ever imagine or that we really understand. God loves us and through His Spirit He shows us His love in very real and wonderful ways. God loves us so much that He desires us to let Him be the answer to our lives. Through His Son Jesus God has provided everything that we need in life and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, longs to make known to us and for us to take advantage of all that God the Father has given to those that believe on His Son Jesus.

That there are laws to life is undeniable. That there is a way of life that is more than most have ever imagined is a surprise to most. Even more surprising is that this life is found only through faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Sadly many believers in Christ live a life far below the plan of God.
To live the full life available in Christ we must follow the Law of Life. There can be no mixing of the old and new life. The laws that govern each are contrary to the other. This is the law of life, not the law of Moses. The Spirit gives life, the letter kills. To live the Law of Life we live by faith in Christ and this faith changes not only how we live but the expectation and reality of life itself.

There are so many important voices in the Church saying so many interesting but wrong things. How do we know if what someone says is wrong? We compare their revelation and understanding with the Word of God. If the revelation and the Word are contrary, then the revelation and all related teaching are wrong as the Word of God cannot be wrong. (If the Word is wrong then the revelation would be absolutely worthless anyway!)
There have always been those that have said that it is not God’s will to heal or bless or that it may not be God’s time to heal or bless. We conclude that if it is not God’s will or time to heal, deliver, or bless then it is also not His time to save as all flows from the same work of Christ. Many now preach seasons, we believe that today is the season for all that God has given the Church. Either all that we have in Christ is God’s will or nothing is God’s will. Faith receives if faith believes. (There is a small interruption as we take time for a child looking for her chair, but suffer the little children.)
