Spirit and Life

Life is an interesting property. It is or it is not. Life comes and instinctively we know how to live. We may not have all of the knowledge of how we live but life brings with it a certain level of understanding. So it is with Life in Christ. There is little need for ”step by step” instruction on living for with Life we have basic understanding. For that which we must grow in we have the Word of Christ which is Spirit, or the force, power, and understanding of Life, or how we live the Life. Because the Word is Spirit, teachings that give our rational mind step by step instructions have little power and few can live and prosper by them. Some take in such instruction through their Spirit man and grasp the power of faith, while others try to live out the power and fullness of a spiritual life through principles given to the flesh. The Life we live in Christ is a Spirit life and the power of this life works from the Spirit to the flesh, not the other way. When we take the Word of God into our Spirit, then we will know faith, power, and all that we have in Christ for the Word of God is not “how to,” but rather “you are!”
