The Burden of Faith

The teaching of church has turned somewhat from its beginnings. The focus has become one of self in many ways instead of being on the gifts of the Lord. We have self-improvement, self-enrichment, and self-works but little of God’s true grace. When we learn the proper and biblical focus we will see the glory of the Lord.

Breaking Cycles

Grace by the Gifts

We live in a time when the Body of Christ has become increasingly dependent upon anointed individuals. While we do need those that God has invested with callings, we need each other. Every believer has been given at least one gift. These are for the benefit of all. The grace that we need and ask for is often dispensed through those around us.

Living the Word

Led By The Spirit

Resurrection Reasoning

The coming of Jesus to live, die, and rise again for us is basically understood as simply to rescue people from hell. Our sins are forgiven, we have a reservation in heaven, and we can now do a work for God. This to many is God’s plan for man. But what if God had another reason for coming in the flesh, dying for our sins and coming back to life on the third day? What if the reasoning of God was that He wanted to bless us? What if Jesus came so we could be the children of God and share with Him all that God has? That would be life and life more abundantly.

Kingdom Applications

The Kingdom seems abstract to most but it is more real than anything seen. To value the reality and working of the Kingdom we must understand how to apply Kingdom living to everyday life. The principles of the Kingdom must become our every day standard of living. The ways of the Kingdom must become our way of life. It is in the Kingdom that every blessing and promise is held! Known By God

To be known by someone is a wonderful part of life. There are not that many people that can say that someone really knows them. Yet God knows us. God knows us inside and out and He loves us. God is never ashamed of us because He He knows us even more deeply than we know ourselves. He knows the hurts, failures, wrongs, and everything else but more importantly He sees the person not just the events of that person’s life. As we understand that we are known by God, everything with God is so much easier on us as we are coming to a true Father.

Kingdom Prayer

Prayer to a Believer is like spiritual oxygen. Prayer was never meant to be complicated or laborious in process. Prayer is not an exercise nor is it to be classified as a duty. Prayer is conversation with our Father. Prayer is our link our Father’s bountiful favor and supply. The fate of the world hangs in the balance of a Believer’s prayer. In the Kingdom of God prayer is not only guaranteed an answer but an answer of yes. While this may seem impossible it is merely life in the Kingdom.

Living in Power

To live in power is to live by faith. To live by faith is to live receiving the promises of God. The promises of God are beyond the limits of all imagination and they are guaranteed to the Believer. To live in this great power is to act on it through belief and speech. To use what we believe in our heart we must act upon it. In many cases this will be to speak, in other areas it may be in giving or the laying on of hands. In every case God has equipped every Believer with the power to live the life that His word promises.

Simplicity of the Gospel

The Gospel is a simple message of simple faith. There is nothing complicated for us to know, do, or fulfill. We are simply asked to believe on what God has accomplished for us in Jesus. We get the easy part because God did the hard part. We rest in the finished work of Jesus. We live in His victory and we stand before God due to His complex work of redemption. God took care of the complexity while we simply believe that God is pleased with us because we believe in His Son.

More on Power

The Believer is bursting with power. Every Believer is a walking powerhouse. Why then do so few live in the fullness of this great power? We do not believe the power of God and we do not understand that all power is in Jesus. On any given Sunday there are more sermons on the much lesser power of the devil than there is on the power in the name of Jesus. Believers are taught that they have power but then are taught process and technique instead of encouraged to believe and to act in faith according to the greatness of Jesus name!

Kingdom Meaning

The Kingdom of Heaven is so confusing to so many Believers and yet all that we are and have is connected to this amazing Kingdom. All spiritual life is connected to the Kingdom. And as our natural life is connected to our spiritual life, then we should be concerned with the Kingdom! All that we do has meaning in the Kingdom as well as all that happens in the Kingdom has meaning for us. Every miracle is connected to God’s Kingdom. Every need is found within the Kingdom. Understanding is key and living a Kingdom conscious life is the door to understanding.

Power 101

Faith is key in the life of the Believer. But how do we move faith from a concept to a working force? The working of faith in our lives will correspond to the working of power in our lives. Power basically is ability and every Believer has all the ability that they require through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Power is not something that we must seek as we received power with the Holy Spirit. Rather power is something that we must learn to use.

Kingdom Confidence

Royalty possess confidence. In Christ we are royalty, we too should possess great confidence. This confidence is obviously not in ourselves but in the Kingdom. To have confidence in the Kingdom you must be sure of the strength and dependability of the Kingdom. Of course the strength of any Kingdom depends upon its Sovereign so ultimately to have Kingdom confidence you must have confidence in the Father by way of Jesus.

He is the center of the universe, the most important man that has ever lived and the namesake of Christianity. Without Him we would not have true life or even the hope of life as God would be forever unapproachable to man. Yet even though He is the Head of the Church and in fact the foundation, founder, and builder of the Church Jesus is often the least discussed in church. He is apologized for, put into “proper Perspective” and even hidden from sight all the while we have nothing if we do not have Him for He alone is the faith and even the entrance to the faith. Jesus is our topic for He alone is our life.

Grace is the Word

The Enemy of the Kingdom

Every Kingdom has an enemy. It is also true that God’s Kingdom has an enemy. The enemy may surprise you a little for the enemy to concern yourself with is not Satan. Yes he is against the Kingdom and all that dwell therein, but he is not the main concern. In fact, Satan cannot stop any working of the Kingdom unless those seeking the blessings of the Kingdom help him by giving into their archenemy - unbelief.

Live in the Kingdom

There is a point that we must stop trying and start doing. There is a time that we should have found what we have been seeking. When you get down to it we have to live what we have been given to live. When we come to Jesus we are placed into God’s Kingdom. There are instructions on how to live the kingdom life. We can learn, discuss and meditate on Kingdom ways or we can live them! As we are in the Kingdom we should live in the Kingdom and according to the ways of the Kingdom.

The Working of the Kingdom

How does the Kingdom work? We know how church works, we understand how organizations and fellowships work and yet we are often so dumbfounded over the working of the Kingdom! We concentrate on church but Jesus preached the Kingdom! Today’s religion has literally no understanding of th Kingdom and so we miss out completely on understanding the true desire and working of God. It is not that the Kingdom is a mystery it is only we have substituted all that man has created for what Jesus came to give us. If we will learn how the Kingdom works then we will never let religion or the enemy bind us again.
